Have you ever looked at something online and wondered, “Is this even real?” In a world exploding with Artificial Intelligence, it’s easy to feel a bit cheated when you think you’re connecting with a real human soul, only to find out it was generated by a machine. I get it. I feel that way too.
That is exactly why I want to be 100% transparent with you. I use AI in my creative process for A5Love. Sometimes a little, sometimes a bit more. But today, I want to tell you exactly how and why I use it—and why the heart behind this ministry remains entirely human.
The Brush vs. The Artist
Think of AI as my digital paintbrush. I am the artist, but AI helps me bring the vision to life. Here is how we work together:
- Overcoming My Language Barrier: Writing from my heart is easiest in my native Swedish. But since A5Love is here to serve women globally, my thoughts need to be in English. English spelling and grammar have never been my strong suit! Back in school, a hundred years ago, I wrote long, vivid essays. My teachers loved the content, but my papers were always covered in red ink from all my spelling mistakes. AI polishes my English so my true message can shine through without the typos.
- Creating the Visuals: I love beauty, but I didn’t inherit the artist gene. My mother actually made a living as an artist, but somehow that skipped me—most five-year-olds can draw better than I can! Instead of using generic stock photos, I use AI to illustrate the peaceful imagery you see on our verse cards, ensuring the visuals perfectly match the spiritual message.
- Finding the Right Verses: When I am building a devotion around a specific feeling—like anxiety or exhaustion—I know the Bible has the perfect words. Instead of spending an hour googling or trying to recall exact phrasing from memory, I ask AI to find verses matching that theme in seconds.
What AI Will Never Do
There is one thing I never, ever use AI for: The spiritual heart of the product. AI does not pray for you. AI does not have a relationship with God. Every single 5-minute devotion, every chosen theme, and every prayer comes straight from my own quiet time, my own struggles, and my walk with Jesus.
I don’t use AI to automate a business; I use it to assist a ministry.
Is it Cheating?
Maybe some think it is. But is it cheating for someone with blurry vision to wear eyeglasses?
Working with AI isn’t actually a “magic button.” If you’ve ever tried it, you know how messy it can get. I use several different AI models because they complement each other. When one gets stubborn, I switch to another. Sometimes it takes four, five, or even ten attempts just to get one single image right.
Why This Matters for You
By using AI to speed up the technical side of things—the translating, the searching, the formatting—I save hours of tedious desk work.
And because I save time, I can keep my prices low and constantly create new, fresh, quick spiritual tools for you. It allows me to focus on what truly matters: creating a space where a tired, busy woman can connect with God in just five minutes.
The technology is digital. But the heart, the prayer, and the love behind A5Love is 100% real.
